Bannisters Wharf/Bowens Wharf

Enjoy walking, shopping and eating around but note this area tends to get pretty busy. Our favorite time here is early morning before the crowds!

Cliff Walk

A beautiful scenic walk! The side towards First Beach is an easier, paved path while the side towards Bailey’s Beach is a little rougher terrain.

Easton's (First Beach) and Sachuest (Second Beach)

Easiest to get dropped off so you don’t have to pay for parking.

Brenton Point State Park

This spot has our heart. Drive the loop slowly to take in all the gorgeous cuts and curves. Park in the lot and walk to the cliffs for a killer view. If you are lucky enough to catch a sunset here, it is pure magic.

Fort Adams State Park

Historic fort with a beautiful lawn to walk around overlooking Narragansett Bay.

Shopping

Some favorite shops in town: Wald & Sea, Bobbles & Lace, Little Chateau, Homeport, Man Overboard, Beaucoup Home, Blue Cove, Vitamin Sea, Sailor's Daughter

Newport Mansions

Go on a tour of one of the many iconic Newport mansions to get some Gilded Age history and opulence— we recommend The Breakers, Marble House or The Elms.

Newport Classic Cruises Bannister's Wharf

Brother Austin has given many tours on these boats. It’s a lovely ride around the bay.

International Tennis Hall of Fame

Reserve a court to play on the grass but remember to bring your tennis whites!

The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame

Newport Car Museum

There is a smaller version in town at 222 Bellevue Ave

Clarke Cooke House

Find Mitch or Seth to order a fantastic French martini and some summer sushi (the spicy sashimi is delicious). They are also known for the best espresso martini in town— other than Brian’s, of course. An iconic Newport staple - likely to be very crowded.

O'Brien's Pub

The best. Sit outside for lunch

Giusto

Elevated coastal Italian fare. Order some pastas and a caprese martini (unless you hate carbs and delicious innovative cocktails). Reservations needed!

Mother Pizzeria

Sourdough pizzas. Brian’s favorite meal. Get the square mushroom pie. Recommend grabbing a reservation in advance.

Bar 'Cino Newport

Thin crust grilled pizzas cut with a scissor. Can you tell we like pizza? Recommend grabbing a reservation in advance.
