Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

As of now, masks are not required in Lincoln. Things can change quickly, so we will give updates if something changes. If you chose to wear a mask for your own safety, you are more than welcome to do so.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that you RSVP by August 7th!

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

If your invitation says “ & Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If so, though, please be sure to include them in your RSVP so we can make sure to count them in!

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding and the wedding reception, the dress attire is formal. However, we want you to still be comfortable, so if that top button is too tight or those shoes are too tall, feel free to let it all hang loose!

Are children welcome?

Of course, children are welcome!! They just bring more fun!

Where can we park?

Answer

For the wedding at the Newman Center, there is a parking garage at 17th and R. This parking garage is one block East of the Newman Center. It costs $1.25/hr and $7 daily maximum. As for the reception, there is a parking lot with plenty of parking. Same with the hotel! So, no stress for these ones!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All the events will be held indoors! Let's be honest here, it will be late August, and none of us want to be a hot, sweaty, mess all day!

What does the handicap accessibility of the venues look like?

Answer

All of the venues are handicap accessible :) Each of the events will occur on the first floor and the hotel has an elevator, as well. Please reach out to us if this is something you need help with. We are more than happy to make sure you have the accommodations and help you need for the weekend. We want to make sure you are able to enjoy your time.

Will there be food and drinks served at the reception?

Yes, we will serve dinner and dessert, as well as have a snack bar prior to the meal. Our reception venue also includes a fully stocked bar and bartenders at your service!

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Of course, there will be dancing! The most dancing ever!! So make sure to bring your party pants and be ready to dance the night away!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we would love our guests to post pictures if that is something they would like to do. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag (which is still in the works!) so we can keep track of all your pictures!!
