For the guests that we’ve reached out to about staying on the island with us, you will receive your cabin assignment when you check in. We wish we could accommodate everyone on the island but there is limited cabin space. We hope you’ll still come and hang out beyond our weekend events!

If you’re interested in staying on the lake, Tagalong Golf & Resort is a great option! They have one and two bedroom condos available. There is a 2-night minimum on both room types. Tagalong is only a 5 min drive to Stouts parking lot or a boat ride away! Call the number to book or visit their website to book. A number of their condos can also be found on Airbnb! Rate: $200-300 per night

Out of State Guests
For our friends and family visiting from out of state, we suggest flying into MSP! The drive to Stouts is around 2 hours from the airport. If you need transportation to Stouts, this shuttle service linked below is an option to take groups to the area. Or else we suggest trying to find a ride with someone local or renting a car.

Getting to & From the island
We suggest entering "Stouts Island Lodge" into your Maps as the location. 2799 27th St, Birchwood, WI 54817 The address will bring you to their free parking lot which adjoins a gravel path. Collect your things and follow the gravel path that will lead to their Shore House waiting area and dock. The ferry will pick you up on that dock. The Shore House has restrooms if needed while you wait.

The Ferry Hours
Stouts ferry leaves from the island to the parking lot dock every hour on the hour. Try to arrive at least a few minutes to the hour to be ready on the dock to load onto the boat where Stouts Island staff will greet you and handle your luggage to your cabin assignment. Enjoy the 5-10 minute boat ride to the island! We will have extra ferries running closer to our weekend events so do not worry if you won’t all fit on one boat! The ferry runs 8 AM – 10 PM daily. Because of our events, the final ferries on Friday and Saturday will depart the island at 12:15 AM.
