Our town neighbors the third-largest Amish Community in the United States! This community offers a wide range of wonderful activities for travelers and thrives on tourism to support its local economy. We highly encourage you to check out their delicious foods, masterfully crafted goods, and warm hospitality! For specific recommendations, please don't hesitate to contact any of the local families. Or check out the bride's childhood favorite, Davis Mercantile, for wonderful shops, a historic carousel, and don't forget to try a honey stick!
Step into our shoes and walk the trails where we take our evening strolls! The Millrace Canal Trail is a scenic trail that passes through some of Goshen's most beautiful landscapes. We are often seen walking, riding bikes, and enjoying the parks on this lovely trail. This trail features paved biking and walking paths, gravel trails, open fields, and natural wooded areas. Bonus points if you can find some of the beautiful spots where we took our engagement photos!
Just down the road from our home is Goshen's year-round Farmer's Market! On Saturday from 8 am-1 pm or Tuesday from 3 pm-7 pm, enjoy the bountiful harvests of local farmers, shop for handmade goods, enjoy some coffee, and try some Amish delights without needing to travel outside of Goshen! If you're lucky, you may even get to see the folk band that frequently plays during the market! During the summer, the market thrives, so make sure to check it out!
Goshen's Downtown is home to many thriving small businesses! Located on the beautiful, walkable Main Street, there are a variety of shops and restaurants to check out! Some of our favorites include Fable's Books, Ten Thousand Villages, Found, Refind, Goshen Antique Mall, The Electric Brew, Maple City Market, Olympia Candy Kitchen, and Ignition Music Garage.

This was hands down one of the brides favorite places as a child! If you are staying with Weidner family in Kendallville this would be a great way to spend a day during your travels!
These beautiful gardens were on our short list of wedding venues! While we fell in love with our venue about as quick as we fell in love with each other, we still highly recommend these gardens if you are looking for a calm peaceful afternoon walk.
Another place to visit from our short list of venues! Come here for fresh picked blueberries, honey, baked goods, and house made blueberry ice cream, and more!
