Dress for the Environment!

Our ceremony will take place on the outwash plain of Exit Glacier, weather permitting. Please plan to meet at the Gateway Hotel at 3:00 PM. From there, we will travel together as a group to the riverbed. We may organize a shuttle, but we kindly encourage guests with capable vehicles to help with ride-sharing, so everyone can get out there easily. It will be a standing ceremony, so you’re welcome to bring a camp chair if you’d like. The ceremony will be short and sweet. Afterward, we’ll return to the Gateway, where the reception will begin at 4:00 PM. Because the ceremony site is a ~7 mile drive away, we’ll head out together to make sure everyone arrives on time and no one accidentally interrupts the ceremony. If there is bad weather, we will hold the ceremony & reception at the Gateway Hotel.
