FAQs

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be both indoors and under a tent. There is a rain plan to hold the ceremony under the tent as well. Bathrooms are in the main building across the parking lot from the ceremony site.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal to formal or your ren faire best! Please be aware - although there is pavement pretty much everywhere, the slope down to the ceremony site is a bit steep. The couple also asks that women refrain from wearing white and ivory. We encourage our guests to embrace our fantasy theme by wearing whatever makes you feel like royalty!

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Please stay posted for more details - there is plenty of parking available in a paved lot and grass behind the main building.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we adore your kids, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration with limited exceptions for immediate family and those involved in the ceremony. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off!

Question

Can I bring a Plus-One?

Answer

We are keeping things cozy, so we are only able to include the names listed on your invite. Thanks so much for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating opens at 2:30pm. If you arrive late you will have to help the beer boy!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are paved spots and a gravel/grass parking lot in the back. We ask that guests park back to front & allow our elderly and disabled family parking spaces closest to the buildings.

Question

Line Dancing

Answer

We would love to bring some of Nashville to our wedding! We ask that, if you'd like to, you learn the dances for Copperhead Road (great for beginners!!) and for those that want a bit of a challenge learn the Gives Me Shivers dance to Shivers by Ed Sheeran. The bride recommends Dirt Road Dancing on YouTube; she teaches facing away from you which the bride has found is easiest for her to learn.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras) but there will be a special time where the officiant will instruct guests to take as many photos as you would like!! The greatest gift that you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals who do amazing work, and we promise to share the photos as soon as we receive them!

Question

What is the alcohol situation?

Answer

Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any alcoholic beverages onto the premises, we ask that guests please adhere to this rule. There will be a bar with drinks available for purchase including beer, wine, mixed drinks, our signature drinks, as well as a provided champagne toast.
