Great patio, good drinks, tasty food. Try the zucchini pancakes!
Beer and the one of the best burgers and fries you can get in SLC.
Great coffee, breakfast, and lunch! We try to go here every time we head up to Park City.
Oh man! We cannot say enough good things about this ice cream. Yes, it is all vegan/dairy free but truly you cannot tell. We both agree it is hands down the best ice cream in Utah and puts normal dairy filled ice cream to shame.
Chill Thai restaurant and their panang curry is our go to.
Delicious casual brunch spot, sometimes it can take awhile to get in the door. Matthew loves the shrimp and grits. Sarah loves the vegan veggie Benedict. And don't forget to grab a beniget!
Great local coffee spot to fuel your Cottonwood Canyon adventures!
Delicious food at any time of day. Good beer and cocktail selection as well. Bonus they have a nice fully shaded patio!
Arguably the best craft beers in town but don't go here if your hungry as they do not have food. There is usually a food truck parked outside though.
Fresh modern Mediterranean food in a fun up and coming part of town.
If our wedding cake has left you wanting more, the vegan patisserie that baked it for us is clearly best. Great coffee and lots of yummy pastries. Truly you would have no idea anything in their shop is vegan.
This sushi...to die for and its well worth the wait and price tag! Line up around 4:30-5pm to actually snag a table, they only take reservations for parties of six or more.
Want takeout? Love Indian food? Here you go.
You've just finished an epic hike and all you want is to kick your feet up and have a beer, head to this locals watering hole.
If you want to frolic amongst the wildflowers this is the hike for you! The trail is good for all level of hikers and has many loops so you can make it as short or as long as you'd like. It is a pretty crowded hike though so go early to beat the other hikers.
Sunset peak via Brighton lakes loop is one of my favorite trail runs in SLC. It is steep at the end but the lakes, pines, and extensive views make it well worth it. You can also shorten this hike and just go to one, two, or all three of the lakes and skip the peak.
Hike this for the best lake and mountain views!
If you want a hike on the harder side this is the one for you!
Ok ok so we said hike Grandeur if you want a hard hike BUT if you want a big challenge hike Olympus! Its a leg burner with fun rock scrambling at the peak.
Ever since I moved to Utah I have loved going to Sundance and walking around their grounds. Their bar serves good drinks and snacks, or if you want a high class Sunday brunch their spread is impressive. Plus there is a pretty easy hike to a waterfall from here as well or if you are thinking I am in the mountains I want to hike tall things you can hike Mt. Timpanogos from here as well!
If you want a fun place to stroll around on Sunday hit up the market on Main Street Park City.
If you want nice paved paths to stroll amongst the flowers then head to Red Butte Gardens.
If summer wildfire smoke rolls into the valley and you want something to do inside then the Natural History Museum is a cool place to escape bad air and enjoy some A/C.
