About 25 minutes drive from the village of Rhinebeck, a beautiful winery in the hills boarding Connecticut. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy, no food on site.
Ferncliff Forest
An easy walking trail that leads to a fire tower. From the top of the tower you can get a stunning view of the Hudson River and Catskill mountains!

About 10 minutes drive outside the village of Rhinebeck in FDR's home town of Hyde Park. The grounds include the presidential library, museum and his home on the Hudson River.
Woodstock
About 15 minutes drive from Kingston and 20 minutes from Rhinebeck, the village of Woodstock is a great place to walk around and visit the clothing and home stores, as well as plenty of restaurants - don't miss Overlook Bakery on Tinker Street for coffee and sweets.
