There are lots of Airbnbs around if the hotel isn't for you! The Slabtown neighborhood in NW Portland is within a mile of most wedding events. If you cross the Fremont bridge into North Portland, you will still be close but Airbnbs will be more affordable. The bridge isn't walkable, but would be a short car ride.
