Reverend Dr. Tony Baker, Sr. is Jamere’s family pastor at St. Phillips Baptist Church in Staten Island. He has played a significant role in Jamere’s spiritual journey, having baptized him in 2006. Before the proposal, Reverend Baker blessed Danica’s ring with a special prayer for their future together. We are honored to have him officiate this special day.
Reverend Jean Robert Dorsan

Pastor Jean Robert Dorsan, Danica’s godfather, has been a guiding presence in her spiritual life. He baptized Danica in 2013 and continues to offer his love and support. As the pastor of Église Universelle, he will provide a blessing (une bénédiction) in French during the ceremony—a meaningful tribute to Danica’s Haitian heritage. His son, Pastor Steve Dorsan, will translate the prayer for guests. We are so fortunate to have Danica’s second family playing this role.

Tiffany and Danica have been best friends for 23 years - ever since they met during a choir audition. Their friendship has been a constant source of love, laughter, and support through every chapter of life. Danica is also the proud godmother to Tiffany’s beautiful daughter, Nova. We’re honored to have Tiffany and her wonderful family traveling from Texas to celebrate this special day with us.
