To allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the evening, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding!
Yes, we have arranged shuttles to transport guests to and from the ceremony and reception. More details on pickup location and times to follow!
From the airport or train station: The easiest way to get to your hotel is by taking a taxi, which you can find at designated taxi stands. Getting around the city: Once you’re in Florence, you’ll walk just about everywhere! The city is compact, and most attractions, restaurants, and hotels are within walking distance. Heading back to the airport or train station: You can schedule an Uber in the Uber app for a convenient ride back.
The wedding activities start Friday evening and end Sunday afternoon, so we recommend arriving by midday Friday and leaving Monday morning for a seamless experience. If it's your first time in Florence, consider staying a couple of extra days to explore Tuscany, whether it's a day trip to Bologna or Siena or a wine tour to Chianti or Montepulciano! If you’d like to visit other parts of Italy before or after the wedding festivities, here are some of our favorite destinations, all accessible by train: Milan: 1 hour 45 minutes Lake Como: 3 hours (via Milan) Lake Lugano: 3.5 hours (via Milan, with a quick hop into Switzerland) Lake Maggiore: 3.5 hours (via Milan) Venice: 2 hours 15 minutes Cortina & The Dolomites: 4.5 hours (via Venice) Rome: 1 hour 30 minutes Amalfi Coast & Capri: 3.5 hours (via Naples + ferry or car)
