They met in high school debate class, quickly becoming close friends that turned into years of adventures and backroad driving. It became something more when Ethan made the first move while they were hammocking at the park. Hannah, a year older, moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona, and they spent that year doing long distance, flying back and forth whenever they could. During the COVID lockdown, they unexpectedly got extra time together and adopted their first cat, Nugget. Ethan later moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado Boulder, and they continued long distance, making the most of summers, holidays, and any free weekend. They’ve driven across the country together more times than they can count, and time apart only made being together more meaningful. When Ethan graduated early, he followed Hannah to Tempe as she started naturopathic medical school, and they’ve been living together ever since. They added another cat, Eve, who now goes hiking and climbing with Ethan. They’ve spent their time exploring the Southwest, traveling, camping, and building a life side by side and they’re excited for a lifetime of adventures ahead.
