The Proposal
In August 2025 at Oak Island, Josh pulled off a surprise Charlotte absolutely did not see coming. Two weeks earlier, during a walk, Charlotte (being her timeline-loving, plan-making self) asked when they were getting married. Josh, already plotting, said he “hadn’t thought about it”—a little too nonchalant. Cut to Charlotte heading to a bachelorette party… and Josh heading to buy a ring.
The ring was custom. Charlotte’s dad passed when she was ten, and her mom saved her engagement diamond for her. Since asking for it would’ve ruined everything, Josh chose a diamond band with a temporary center stone.
When their parents met for the first time at Charlotte’s family home in Oak Island, the excuse was “family photos.” Out on the point of the beach—perfect evening, zero suspicion—Josh got sentimental and dropped to one knee. Charlotte said yes of course!
