Winter was returning from graduate school interviews, and it was a late night arriving at O'Hare Airport. We rode a train and then a bus back to Winter's apartment. Winter was tired, hungry, and in no mood to talk. After a time of moody tension, we passed by Hoyne Avenue on the bus. Adam stated, "Huh, they misspelled honey." It was just what we needed. We both started uncontrollably laughing (likely due to extreme fatigue), and the name stuck as a unique way to refer to each other.
No! It's just a fun, unique quirk that stuck with us.
We have made the decision to not invite children to our wedding ceremony and reception. However, they are welcome at the pre- and post-wedding day events.
Yes! There is a large parking lot with plenty of space. There will be parking attendants to help you park effectively. You can even leave your car in this lot over night, if needed.
We will be providing shuttles to and from the hotels and venue. Space is limited! You will be asked in your RSVP if you will need to use these shuttles, so that we can reserve enough space for those who plan to use them.
The shuttles will leave at 4:30pm from the hotels. There will only be one time to take the shuttles, so please plan accordingly.
The shuttles will leave at about 11:45 PM, right after the end of the reception and send-off (the reception is slated to go until 11:30pm). There will only be one trip for the shuttles, so please plan accordingly
You will be at about 5,500 feet above sea level, which may impact your breathing and/or drinking behaviors. Oxygen is a little thinner than you will be used to, so take your time. Drinking alcohol at altitude has a stronger effect on people. Stay mindful!
We are so happy to have our wedding at the beautiful Lionscrest Manor in Lyons, Colorado. Here is their address and website! 603 Indian Lookout Road Lyons, CO 80540 https://lionscrestmanor.com/
