Wedding Party

Bailey Nall

Bride

Bailey is someone who finds joy in both the simple moments of everyday life and the big adventures that come along the way. She truly runs on coffee, creativity, and contagious joy — the perfect blend of Gilmore Girls charm and Friends humor. When she’s not sipping a latte or strolling Trader Joe’s, you’ll find her playing guitar, adventuring with Chris, or simply soaking in the beauty of God’s creation. She feels most alive when she’s outside — whether hiking through the mountains, skiing down snowy slopes, or paddle boarding on the water. Bailey adores The National Parks — both the band and the breathtaking places that stir her soul — and she has a deep love for musicals and music of all kinds. Travel excites her, and she never misses a chance to explore new places, cultures, and experiences. More than anything, Bailey loves Jesus and is passionate about sharing His love with others through kindness, compassion, and the way she lives her life. Her faith is the foundation of her joy and the reason she strives to bring light into every space she enters. And while Bailey loves adventure, music, and meaningful moments, her favorite discovery by far has been finding Chris — the calm to her caffeine, the rhythm to her melody, and her favorite duet partner for life. Warm, adventurous, and faith-filled, Bailey brings laughter, heart, and hope wherever she goes.

Christopher Hodgson

Groom

Chris is someone who can fix your Wi-Fi, communicate entire stories with Mr. Bean–level facial expressions, and somehow make “just one more game” last three hours. He is a coffee aficionado—provided it has lavender and is in the form of a latte—and is most comfortable when he has a controller in his hands. A self-proclaimed introvert, he tends to gravitate to the outer ring of a gathering so he can spot satellites in the night sky rather than get lost in a crowd. However, if the conditions are right, he will belt out any song at karaoke with enough confidence that you will wonder why he is not on American Idol and totally famous. His favorite pastime is traveling across God’s wonderful and perfect creation with Bailey, getting to experience an innumerable amount of cultures, beliefs, and sights. More than anything, Chris loves Jesus with all of his heart and is passionate about sharing Jesus’ love through his actions rather than just words. His relationship with Christ is the cornerstone of his happiness and the reason he loves meeting new people. Chris has traveled all across the world and has met an innumerable number of people; however, when he met Bailey, he knew she was a once-in-a-lifetime treasure who has since become his greatest love, best friend, soulmate, and adventure buddy. He wakes up every morning thanking God for the amazing woman Bailey is and considers himself the luckiest man to have ever lived because Bailey chose him to create their forever together!

Sarah Carmichael

Maid of Honor

Bailey and Sarah met in eighth grade band class, where they bonded over playing the clarinet and being new students at their middle school. Bailey has been a constant presence in Sarah’s life for over a decade, and Sarah is truly honored to stand by her side as she marries Chris. Sarah currently resides in Lubbock, where she works in financial reporting. She values learning and personal growth and, in her free time, enjoys exploring new interests through classes and hobbies, such as beginner pottery and maintaining a sourdough starter.

Dave Hodgson

Best Man

Dave is the Best Man and proud father of the groom, Christopher. Dave was raised on his parents’ farm in Somerset, Ohio, and now lives in Eden, Utah. “Vision Acres” is an amazing and wonderful place to grow up and learn the values of hard work, and it remains one of Dave’s favorite places on Earth. Dave is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 21 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, traveling the world with assignments in Utah, England (where he met his lovely wife, Wendy), Virginia, Panama, and Florida. Dave “retired” again after 20 years working for the U.S. Department of Defense, managing USAF EOD assets and North Defense Radar Systems. Dave continues to serve his country in a new career as a defense contractor with General Atomics. He enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, family time, and watching Ohio State dominate college football. Go Buckeyes!

Karlee Collins-Turner

Bridesmaid

Karlee met Bailey freshman year of undergrad, where they bonded over growing up in small towns, studying music therapy, loving animals, and—most importantly—being in band. (After all, a percussionist and a clarinetist make for the best kind of besties.) Music school isn’t for the faint of heart, and through late-night practice sessions in the FAA, many tears, shared meals, and countless memories, their friendship only grew stronger. Karlee is especially grateful for Bailey’s constant support and for a friendship grounded in faith above all else. One of Karlee’s favorite memories with Bailey is the TWU Bands Ireland trip in 2023—a journey filled with adventure, laughter, and a few life lessons: always take the dangerous path, never settle down, and remember there’s never too much Guinness or Bailey’s coffee. Who knew two redheads from Texas (and one beloved hedgehog) would make headlines on St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland? When she’s not making music, Karlee loves learning—so much so that she’s currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in counseling and music therapy. She has a special love for marimba, keyboard instruments, and hand drums, and she’s happiest curled up with a National Geographic whale documentary (beluga whales especially). If animals (especially hedgehogs and whales), music, and lifelong learning had a spokesperson, it would definitely be Karlee.

David von Adelung

Groomsman

Dave is originally from Texas but now proudly calls Utah home. He is a retired Air Force maintenance officer with a lifelong love for travel—especially exploring new places, experiencing local culture, and sampling regional cuisine. In his free time, Dave enjoys golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter, where—despite decades of experience—he has consistently maintained a respectable lower-novice skill level. A lesser-known fact about Dave is that he lived in Japan for ten years, during which he achieved an equally impressive lower-beginner level of Japanese fluency. Above all, Dave values a good sense of humor, humility, integrity, and a spirit of adventure.

Kaileigh Courts

Bridesmaid

Kaileigh and Bailey met in 2021 at church through their college ministry, thanks to a mutual friend who set them up for discipleship. Though they hadn’t met before, weekly Bible study and prayer quickly turned into a deep and lasting friendship. Their time together was filled with late-night Buc-ee’s and grocery store runs, long car talks, and lots of laughter. Kaileigh loves candy corn, children, a good book, and a cozy cardigan. She also really loves Taylor Swift and trivia. Kaileigh has been a constant source of joy, faith, and encouragement in Bailey’s life, and Bailey is so grateful to have such a thoughtful and loving friend standing by her side on this special day.

JT Lemmermen

Groomsman

JT designs structures that actually stay standing and still makes time to argue game stats during Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals games. A structural engineer from Columbus, Ohio, JT enjoys good food, great company, and any excuse to gather with friends and family. Equal parts productive and adventurous, he spends his free time cooking new recipes, exploring new places, or occasionally choosing a quiet day in to get things done. When the seasons are right, you’ll find JT skiing, golfing, or confidently claiming this will be his best round yet.

Candice Hodgson

Sister of Honor

Candice is the sister of the groom and was born and raised in Florida. She lives in Eden, Utah, and loves playing with and walking her dog, Snowflake, in the beautiful Ogden Valley. Candice enjoys all things arts and crafts, especially painting and soap making. She loves traveling and visiting museums and art galleries—if you know Candice, you likely own one of her original pieces of artwork. Candice adores her “annoying little brother,” Christopher, and enjoys spending time with him and Bailey. She is thrilled that Bailey is becoming her sister and the wife she has always prayed for her brother. Wedding guests will leave with one of Candice’s original art creations.

Coleman Nall

Brother of Honor

Coleman, the brother of the bride, is an outdoorsman through and through. If it involves hunting, fishing, history, or being anywhere remotely near nature, he’s in. He recently earned his Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and immediately jumped into a master’s program in business—because hard work has always been his thing and free time is clearly overrated. Coleman has a rare talent for knowing the anatomy of just about any animal and identifying the type of soil you’re standing on just by touching it (no lab required). He works hard and plays hard, whether that means hitting the slopes skiing or enjoying a well-earned Whataburger patty melt. That said, nothing beats Christmas tree cakes when the holiday season rolls around.

Marla Nall

Mother of the Bride

Marla loves shopping trips, mountain getaways, and the occasional lazy day curled up on the couch with a Hallmark movie. These simple joys mean the most when shared with her husband, Ralph, and their children. Her bucket list includes sampling sauerkraut in Germany, witnessing the northern lights, and—ideally—spending time near a family of bears in Alaska. Marla considers her greatest accomplishments to be her two children and her 29-year marriage to Ralph. Now, she joyfully steps into a new chapter as the mother of a married daughter and proudly welcomes a new son-in-law into the family.

Ralph Nall

Father of the Bride

Ralph—better known as the Father of the Bride—has spent a lifetime enjoying family adventures and making memories along the way. When he’s not cheering on his favorite sports teams or catching a well-earned nap in his Lazy Boy, you’ll find him working in the yard or at the youth baseball park. He especially loves time spent in the mountains of Colorado. Ralph has been happily married to Marla, the Mother of the Bride, for nearly 30 years, and his favorite trips have always been the ones shared with family.

Wendy Hodgson

Mother of the Groom

Wendy is the blessed mother of the groom, Christopher. Wendy was born and raised in London, England, and now lives in Eden, Utah, where she runs Edelweiss Bed & Breakfast with her husband, Dave, daughter Candice, and Grandpa Godfrey. Wendy loves spending time with family and friends and traveling the world to stay connected. Last year, Wendy reached her goal of visiting every state in the USA and is now working toward visiting every U.S. National Park (41 of the 63 parks—22 to go). Wendy loves all things outdoors, especially camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing, as well as going to movies, theatre, concerts, museums, and sporting events. As parents of the groom, Dave and Wendy thank God for the blessing of raising Christopher and for Bailey’s gracious, faith-filled addition to their family. They pray that their love reflects Christ’s love for the church, marked by patience, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Christina Sileo

Mother of the Groom

Christina has lived in 8 states across the US and overseas (twice) thanks to the military life, and she currently calls Greenville, South Carolina home. She is a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother (aka “Gibby”). Christina has known Christopher since the moment he was born and is thrilled to be part of his and Bailey’s big day! If you see Christina crying during the ceremony, no you didn’t.

John and Bethany Varner

Officiant

John and Bethany have been married for almost 20 years and currently live in Utah after spending 15 years in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They love great coffee and can often be found making lattes on their espresso machine for friends, family, or anyone who happens to be nearby. When they’re not hosting people in their home, they’re hiking as a family, cheering loudly for the Kansas City Chiefs, and raising their three kids. John and Bethany love deep conversations, shared meals, and creating space for people to grow in their relationship to Jesus—usually around a table and almost always with coffee.
