FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to Ronilo or Haley directly. Thank you!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP on our website as soon as possible. However, the deadline is April 10th. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to regretfully mark you as "no". We have to book with our vendors in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

If I have received an invitation to the ceremony, what time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony BEGINS at 2:30pm, so please arrive with enough time to park and find your seat. My suggestion would be 2-2:15pm.

Question

What time should I arrive to the reception?

Answer

The Cocktail Soirée Reception will take place at the Bride's Grandparent's house in their beautiful backyard. This event will begin at 5:30pm, giving you time to travel from the ceremony venue to the reception location.

Question

Will refreshments be provided?

Answer

Yes, we appreciate you joining us for our special day! Dinner, dessert, drinks, and alcoholic beverages will be provided for your comfort and convenience. You'll need the energy to dance the night away!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that you visit the 'Dress Code' tab on our site.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to our limited space, we can only accommodate guests who have been formally invited. If you have received a plus one, that will be mentioned on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding x

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony parking: Street parking is available, just please avoid parking directly in front of the Virginia House, the neighbors directly across the street from them, or the driveway. Reception parking: The reception will take place at the Bride’s Grandparent’s backyard. Turn into the Woodland Pond neighborhood off of Beach Road, and continue past the first intersection to the entrance of the neighborhood pool parking lot, and turn left at the “Hiraya Wedding Parking” sign. Parking directors will show you where to park your car in the designated area and get you a shuttle to the house. At the end of the night at 10 (or earlier if needed) a shuttle will return you to your car for your drive home.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony so that we may all be present during this special moment together. The officiant will announce when there is an opportunity for photos, otherwise we have a lovely photographer/videographer who will be capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and video as your heart desires.
