"Hiraya" stems from the ancient Tagalog phrase "Hiraya Manawari". Hiraya means "the fruit of ones hopes, dreams, and aspirations" while Manawari means "may it come true". When put together, this phrase generally translates to "May the wishes of your heart come true." Together, ours have. We knew from the moment our paths first crossed that we would be in each other's lives for the rest of time. For six years we've journeyed together, our paths entwined as one. Now, we look forward to starting our next chapter, our souls bound together in love. For this next phase of life, we have decided to create our own last name and create a new lineage stemming from the purest of love. In doing so, we hope to unburden ourselves and our future children of any generational curses that may follow the names we grew up with. We look forward to our future together as the Hirayas.
