Question

COVID

Answer

As of now we are hopeful that we will be able to host the wedding as planned. We will update information here closer to the wedding to allow each guest to make the best possible decision.

Question

What will the dinner options be?

Answer

Dinner will start with a strawberry fields salad (spinach, strawberries, walnuts, feta cheese, blackberry thyme vinaigrette). Bread will also be served with this course. We will have three options for the main course. Chicken Piccata (chicken with white wine caper butter sauce, charred lemon), Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon (charred lemon glaze), or Roasted Poblano Relleno (smoked tomato, risotto, vegetables, salsa rojo, crema). Anyone who does not make a dinner selection during the RSVP process will be served chicken. All dinners will be served with mashed potatoes (cream cheese, sour cream, chives, white cheddar) and citrus basil asparagus (gremolata). There will be several flavors options of cake pops for dessert after the cake cutting. (There will be gluten free options.)

Question

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Not exactly a theme per se, but it is rustic/elegant. It will take place on a beautiful ranch so dressed up with your boots on is perfect, but of course any shoes will be fine.

Question

Can I attend all the events listed on the schedule?

Answer

As much as we wish we could have everyone at all of our events we just can't. Please only attend the events that you have RSVP'd for.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (unless specifically stated on your invitation) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at the wedding. It is not black tie, but we would consider it a dressed up event. The bridal party will be wearing cowboy (girl) boots and we would love if you wore yours too!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is planned for outside, however we have an inside location if the weather doesn't cooperate. The cocktail hour will have indoor and outdoor space. For the reception dinner will be indoors, then dancing will be indoors and out!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Typically Colorado is beautiful this time of year! The days can be a little hot, but the nights will cool down beautifully.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We do not have any events planned. We may go out a little after the rehearsal dinner and will keep everyone posted if we do and where we go!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar as well as non-alcoholic drinks during cocktail hour, and a sit down dinner will be provided during the reception, and of course there will be cake!

Question

Will there be any vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free/ special diet options?

Answer

Yes, please let me know through your RSVP what your needs are.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please do! Please use our hashtag #TheHillsEST2021 so that we can see all of your amazing photos!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

You can park right near the reception site! However, we will provide a shuttle to and from the host hotels if you prefer not to drive. We will have an open bar and prefer you do not drive if you plan to drink!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says and guest then please do! Just let us know if you plan on being a party of one or two so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see the registry page of our wedding website!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
