This park is only five minutes from the Bride's home and is a personal favorite for walks, bike rides, engagement photos, or just playing at the park. There is also a waterpark for the kiddos!
We love this place. Brandon loves art so much and we highly enjoyed going here. General admission is always free for members and residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.
The Congregation is an excellent hang out spot for coffee, drinks, small plates, and games. We enjoyed it after going to the DIA.
A little ways out of Detroit, but worth checking out if you enjoy hard cider, fresh fruit, and beautiful scenery.
Near Blake's Orchard. Worth the drive out, this large metropark will take you face to face with lots of animals and is a nice change of pace from the bustle of Detroit.
If you have the chance, check out a concert or sporting event in Detroit! We've been able to see a couple of Red Wings Games! Fun fact, the bride's father plays Hockey.

It’s also incredible to just take a drive down Lakeshore Drive and see the mansions along Lake St Clair
Walk through the sandy square, or sightsee and look for “the Spirit of Detroit!”
You have two hours between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour. Play some golf!
