Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to venue capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “{Your name} & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited space, we hope you appreciate children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited and “Mr. & Mrs.” if only you and your significant other have been invited.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on the grounds of Bowling Brook Mansion. Seats will be in the grass so think about shoe choices.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

Ceremony will start at 5:30pm. Guests will be ushered to their seats around 5:15pm. Cocktail hour will follow after around 6pm.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

We ask our family and friends to celebrate with us in semi-formal/cocktail wear. Please remember that we will be outside and in October.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

It'll be October so the weather could be anywhere from nice and cool to hot. Praying for cool weather.

Will the ceremony be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be held outdoors on the ground of Bowling Brook Mansion, but there will be a plan B in case of inclement weather.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

While the family and wedding party are taking photos, there will be a cocktail hour with some yummy appetizers and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the mansion and the grounds.

Will transportation be provided? Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is on site parking at the venue. There will be a shuttle from the Clarion Inn to the venue for only family members and any elderly guests that may need assistance. We do ask those family members and elderly guests to reserve a spot at the following email: kaheisig23@gmail.com

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour/reception after the ceremony. Of course we will have an after party. The next morning we are planning to have a brunch for anyone who would like to come.

The RSVP deadline is Aug 28th, 2023.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks for some local hotels. You can find the information on the travel page. There are other local hotels listed that we do not have blocks at.

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate with you?

Can I take pictures and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! We will have a moment in the ceremony for you to take photos but we do ask that phones be put away until that moment. Of course once the ceremony is over you can take as many photos you want. Use our hashtag #timetogetheisig when posting on social media

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is a gift in itself but as the venue is where the ceremony and reception are taking place there will be a table for cards and gifts.

Answer

The reception will be from 7-10pm.

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

Answer

Yes the venue for the ceremony and reception is handicap accessible. If needed the venue can provide with extra ramps inside the venue.
