Marry your best friend. That’s how the saying goes. Except, it’s not that easy sometimes. At least for us, it didn’t seem to be that easy. We both have been hurt in the past and honestly we were scared to get hurt again. Patience. That is the key. We both were patient with each other and we each took our time to realize that this person wasn’t going to hurt us….or our heart. COVID has hurt a lot of people, but we feel that it helped our relationship. It gave us the time to talk and get to know one another. During that time our friendship grew to a budding relationship. Having our friends and family help nourish the relationship to what it is today. I am happy to say that I’m marrying my best friend and neither of us would have it any other way.
