The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal or formal attire, with a cheerful summer garden party twist. While we're keeping things elegant, we encourage you to embrace the season spirit with light, bright colors and pastels that complement our theme. Our wedding party will be wearing light blue, and we'd love to see our guests in colorful formal wear that captures the joy of a summer celebration. Think sophisticated garden party meets formal affair. Pleas avoid white, ivory, or champagne colors (reserved for the bride).
The ceremony will occur at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, AR. The ceremony will be indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will take place at The Garden Room in Fayetteville, AR. The venue is both indoors and outdoors.
While we cannot predict the exact forecast on our wedding day, it is important to note that it will take place in the summer in Arkansas. The average temperature in Fayetteville during July is a high of 89 and a low of 69.
Guests will need to arrange their own transportation for the wedding day. You'll want to plan for two locations: St. Joseph Catholic Church and The Garden Room. We recommend driving your own vehicle between venues so you will have the flexibility to arrive and depart at your convenience. For those who prefer not to drive, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area. Note: There will be a break between the ceremony and reception to allow ample time for travel between venues.
At the ceremony, guests are able to utilize the free parking in the church parking lot. At the reception, there are parking lots and garages surrounding the venue that are both paid and unpaid. - UMC Garage (125 W Lafayette St, Fayetteville, AR): free parking garage with a 7-minute walk from the venue. - West Avenue Parking Deck (319 N West Ave, Fayetteville, AR): $1.50/ hour, it is a 2-minute walk from the venue. - There are various paid parking lots as well as street parking in the Dickson Street Entertainment District that range from $1-$1.50/hour. A map will be sent out closer to the wedding date with parking information for guests. If there are any questions or concerns regarding parking and transportation, please message Kyle and I.
Due to occupancy constraints at our wedding, we are unable to accommodate any children that are not stated on the invitation. If your children are included your invitation will state "_____ Family."
Our RSVP form through Zola will include a question regarding any dietary restrictions. Please let us know through the RSVP so we can accommodate you.
We will have an open bar for beer, wine, and two signature cocktails.
Out of respect for our ceremony taking place in a church, we kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain completely put away during the ceremony. This allows everyone to be fully present and ensures our professional photographer can capture the ceremony without disruption. We will have a professional photographer documenting every special moment, and we'll be happy to share these photos with you after the wedding. You're welcome to take photos and videos during the reception, and we'd love for you to share in our joy then! Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain the sanctity of our ceremony!
Please let us know your plans for attendance by May 19th so we can coordinate with our vendors.
