Why the Hathaways?

Answer

You may have noticed that we aren’t going the traditional last name route! We’ve both chosen to take the name Hathaway, which is currently Ian’s second middle name. We both decided we wanted to change our names together (and Ella Michelle Hall has a lot of ‘L’s).

Our venue is the beautiful Song Hill Reserve in Landrum SC. Both the ceremony and reception will be onsite. Please prepare to spend the day outdoors!

Garden Party Semi-Formal We invite you to dress in light, airy fabrics and seasonal colors suitable for an outdoor celebration. Kindly note that our bridal party will be wearing shades of green.

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Yes! We will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Answer

To be closest to the venue, we suggest using a vacation rental site. House rentals can be found on AirBnb or Vrbo by searching for Lake Lanier, SC. We stress SC so you do not wind up in Georgia! Rentals on Lake Lanier will be a few minutes away from our ceremony. If you would like to be close to the venue, we recommend booking your rental as soon as possible. We also have a hotel room block for our guests, the hotel is a 30 minute drive from the venue. Please see the 'travel' tab for links to VRBO, AirBnb, and the hotel block.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue, with shuttle service to the ceremony and reception sites
