What should I wear?

Please see above pic of the Queen for inspo. The weather is unpredictable so bring a jacket! A lot of the venue is outdoors so please bring shoes that you feel comfortable walking on the grass. Traditionally women wear hats at English weddings - we love a good hat. Think garden party and have fun with it - patterns and bright colours are very welcome.

How do I get to and from the venue from Bristol?

Answer

The venue has a parking lot that is open for guests to use. While an uber will take you to the venue you will need to arrange a taxi to get back. What airport should I fly into?

Answer

If you are flying from another continent Gatwick and London Heathrow are best. Bristol does have an airport but it is usually far more expensive to fly into unless you are coming from Europe.

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

We have to turn off the DJ speakers at midnight but can technically dance all night long to a portable speaker. Hors-d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, S'mores, and late-night snacks to be served throughout the day.

Do I Get a Plus One? Can I bring my children?

Answer

The venue is strict in terms of maximum guests allowed. If your plus one or children are not explicitly listed on your invitation please reach out to us to see if we have room.

Is it worth renting a car?

Answer

This totally depends on what you want to do. Parking in Bristol is a bit of a nightmare but most hotels have lots. If you would like to explore the countryside then having a car is great. Contact Hannah for driving tips/horror stories. Hope you like roundabouts.

Can I add to the playlist for the reception?

Answer

Yes! Please send all song requests to Ryan. We are hoping to make a playlist that encourages both good and terrible dancing.

I have special dietary needs - who do I tell?

Answer

The formal invitation will include space for dietary requirements. Food will be served family style and clearly marked with plenty of meat, veggie, vegan options. Food will be all farm-to-table and locally sourced.

What is the booze situation at the wedding?

Answer

Two cocktails, half a bottle of wine, and two glasses of champagne will be provided. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar. Flasks are easy to hide (wink wink).
