FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will being punctually at 4:30pm in the evening, please arrive no later than 4:15pm to ensure you are seated in time for the ceremony to begin. For more information about the schedule of the day more details can be found on the "schedule" page.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at the Providence Cotton Mill, a stunning open-air venue with no glass on the windows- just charming stone walls and beautiful arches that let the fresh air in. In true spring spirit we will be holding the ceremony outside in the back lawn and the reception inside with the open air windows to enjoy the breeze and views (unless Mother Nature has other plans!) If it's chilly or rainy the clear sliding panels can be used... but our fingers are crossed for a perfect April day! *Just recommend bringing a light layer just in case the evening cools off.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We're going for a garden party meets spring tea party vibe, think elevated and festive but not overly formal. Dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits (no ties required just your personal preference). The venue is partially outdoors and open-air, so be sure to dress for the weather and wear shoes that work well on grass and gravel.

Question

Our venue does offer parking if you choose to drive and valet drop off and parking for those unable to take stairs ( just let a parking attendant know when you arrive.) If anyone wants to carpool to cut down on the amount of cars that would be preferred due to limited spots on property.
