How We Met They say timing is everything…and our story proves it. We were introduced by a mutual friend, Brooke, who had very different messages for each of us. She told me (Bryanna) that Noah would be the guy to have a fun night out with at this concert she was inviting me to but braced me with “don’t expect anything serious.” Meanwhile, she was telling Noah that I was going to be “his wife” and “he better get it together.” (Spoiler: she wasn’t wrong.) Even though Noah had originally invited someone else to this Eric Church concert before he knew I was going, he ended up uninviting her so he could try and be my date for the night. Bold? Yes. A little savage? Also yes. Worth it? 1000%. Our First Date Our first official date was a group setup to the Eric Church concert in September 2023, followed by a night out dancing at Coyote Joe’s in downtown Charlotte. It was loud, chaotic, so much fun. Right after that night, things just… clicked. We were inseparable from the start. By the very next weekend, I met his parents — which felt fast, but also somehow completely right. The Relationship From the beginning, everything about our relationship felt easy. There were no games or mixed signals. Every word Noah said matched his actions, and that consistency made me feel safe to slowly lower my guard. We’re a mix of spontaneous and steady. Always matching each other’s energy, but also balancing each other out in the best way. We love going to concerts, going to Carolina Panther games (go sports!), relaxing at bonfires with friends, and spending quality time with our dog, Clio. Life together feels like home. The Proposal On December 9th, just a little over a year into our story, Noah planned what I thought was a “Christmas card” photo shoot at a mountaintop venue in Morganton. When we arrived, our photographer was “running late,” so we wandered around taking in the view. What I didn’t know was that inside, our closest friends and family were secretly hiding, holding their breath and waiting for the moment he dropped to one knee. Noah had been secretly coordinating everything for months through a group chat with my favorite people (still mad I wasn’t in it). He popped the question, I said yes (at least I think, I completely blacked out and don’t think any sound came out other than me hyperventilating), and we celebrated the perfect moment with everyone we love at our favorite brewery. The Next Chapter Now here we are planning a wedding, building our forever, and still wondering how we got so lucky. As for Brooke? She’s 100% taking credit and honestly, she deserves it.
