Blue Bee Cider is Virginia’s first urban cidery, located in the historic Scott’s Addition district of Richmond, VA. Our ciders are made with rare and heirloom Virginia apples prized for their tannin, acidity, and flavor. We respect – but also challenge – the traditions of the craft, uniting past and present to create an experience where all are welcome. While Blue Bee Cider has historically hosted local food trucks for weekends and events, we have transitioned from food truck service into hosting an on-site, brick & mortar artisanal cheese shop. Truckle Cheesemongers is a full-service cheese & charcuterie counter, complete with artisanal grilled cheese sandwiches, boutique culinary gifts, & more! Nothing pairs better with our ciders than fine and imported cheeses, and we’re thrilled to have them join us. Gluten-Free options available, too.
Sundays are a lot more fun with Godfreys Drag Brunch. Performers strut their stuff during a brunch that pairs pulsing music with banana-stuffed french toast or quiche. In fact, we celebrated finding my wedding dress at this drag brunch – not only were the gals SO impressive, but the food was too!
