I’ve known Carlos for longer than I’ve known pretty much anything. I met Carlos when my grandma started babysitting him and his siblings when we were just 2. Over the past 24 years, Carlos and I have had an endless amount of experiences. We’ve been classmates, room mates and lived states away and our friendship has never faded. Since the moment I told Carlos about the girl I’ve been talking to, he’s always reminded me how lucky I am to find my person. He would do anything to see me and Madison happy. And I’m lucky he gets to be with us while we say our I do’s.

I met Margaret (Maggie) through a volleyball Facebook group while I was living in Eugene. We were fast friends and the rest is history... Just kidding. Beyond our shared love for volleyball, we bond over attending concerts, books, and camping trips to the mountains. Maggie has been a large part of Austin and I's journey. She has earned this role and paid her dues by being the best third wheel for three years. Maggie- thank you for being the sun to my moon, the golden retriever to my black cat. The love you have shown me is unlike any I have known before. If something good happens, no matter how big or how small, you make it seem like I won the lottery. Thank you for accepting and loving every part of me. You have shown me friendship so true and so pure it is an honor to have you alongside me in this next big leap. I love you.
