It's a love story

It all started with a swipe (as it always does these days) and a first date at Hessen Haus. From the moment they met, there was something special, even if Kate did think Mitch hated her when he ended the night with a side hug (romantic, right?). But, they fit together like pieces of a puzzle, and within no time were spending a lot of time together — including a fateful Iowa State game where Mitch "accidentally" met Kate's dad and brothers (no pressure!). After a little too much tailgating, Kate proceeded to lose one of her rings in the middle of a very important play (not shocking), causing the whole section to search for it. When it was found, the entire section cheered, and one guy joked, "Now, the wedding can go on." Iowa State might have lost that day, but the two of them definitely won.
