To greet our guests who will be coming into Hastings for the weekend, we are hosting Welcome Drinks at BKYD (the riverside patio & bar at The Confluence Hotel) on Friday, September 25th. Exact timing is to be confirmed, roughly 8:00-10:00pm. All wedding guests are welcome, and we would love to see you there. Drinks will be provided at this event, as well as the wedding.
We kindly request formal attire. Women: midi or floor-length dresses or pantsuits. Men: suits or tuxes -- jackets required; ties or bowties encouraged.
We have chosen to host our wedding as an adults-only occasion, with the exception of our nieces and nephews. Therefore, we politely request no children - thank you for understanding!
Yes! Overnight hotel guests have free parking on the west side of the building. Wedding guests who are not staying at the hotel may park for free in the two-story ramp across the street from The Confluence. Cars may be left overnight, if needed.
All wedding weekend events, as well as our main hotel block, will be located at The Confluence Hotel. Therefore, please note that no transportation will be provided to other locations. If you need transportation to another hotel or AirBnB, Uber and Lyft are typically available in Hastings, but may be limited. We have set up a priority taxi service with a local company, 5 Ride. They will have a driver on standby throughout our wedding weekend - call or text (612) 814-1092 to schedule a ride. Smart Ride (612-282-3482) & River City Rides (612-300-4442) are two additional local taxi services.
For anyone who isn’t ready for the night to end, we plan to head down Main Street to 2nd Street Depot to keep the celebration going with their DJ and karaoke - running until 2 am! This isn’t an official wedding event, but we wanted to share so you can plan your transportation accordingly.
