FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends come in their best dressed for our big day. With that, the dress code is formal attire. Ladies, dresses are preferred; however, please refrain from burgundy, green, and champagne as those are the colors of my bridesmaids’ dresses. Please also avoid colors such as white, ivory, and cream as that is reserved for the bride. Gentlemen, a suit or tux is preferred, but please refrain from forest green as our groomsmen are wearing that color! I know it is a backyard wedding, but we ask that you do not wear jeans. Thank you in advance and we can’t wait to see how good y’all look!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guest formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults only with the exception of Leiland. We strongly encourage you to use this evening as a date night and enjoy yourselves!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an “unplugged” ceremony. We are asking that our family and friends please silent all phones and ensure cameras are safely stowed away. We have hired a professional photographer and we want her to be able to perfectly capture our special moments without any blockages. After the ceremony and exit, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want. There will be a QR to scan to send all your pictures directly to us so we’re able to relive our perfect day over and over again! Again, we thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! There will be two open bars with a variety of liquor as well as coolers full of beer. It is not required to bring your own booze, but you may if you choose.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is August 21st, 2024 which is a month out from the wedding. We ask that you please RSVP by that date in order for us to get an accurate head count for our big day.
