What is black tie optional?

Answer

Black tie-optional refers to a dress code in which a tuxedo/dinner jacket (black tie) is requested, but guests have the option to wear a dark business suit if they so choose. For women, it means midi or floor-length gowns are requested, but cocktail dresses are also acceptable.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle will be running from the hotel to to church starting at 1:15 until 1:50. Guests are encouraged to board shuttle early as it will need to make a few trips back and forth. The shuttles will also be available to return guests to the hotel after the ceremony.

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

Valet parking only is offered by the hotel. You may also look for other parking garages near the area.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Answer

There will be a vegetarian food option. If you have a food allergy we should be aware of, please reach out to Amanda Miller directly at 513-600-4741.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! If your wedding invitation does not say "and Guest" then we would prefer if it was just you!

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a couple hours of down time between the ceremony and reception. We recommend heading back to the hotel bar, which is reserved for our group, grabbing some drinks/light snacks from a local restaurant/bar, or heading to Rhinegeist Brewery for some beers/games.

Is there an after party following the Reception?

Answer

Yes! We invite all of our guests to join us at Igby’s Bar where we will have space reserved. Igby’s is a .2 mile walk from the Renaissance.
