Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Abbie Hausfeld and Andrew Siegel
Idaho springs is centrally located to several scenic spots, hiking trails and other outdoor activities. We highly recommend checking out Central City, CO (one of our favorite places in Colorado!) Central City is home to over 8 casinos, old saloon bars and mining caves. Lots to explore in this hidden gem of a city! If you're interested in a scenic drive, we recommend checking out the Mount Evans Scenic Byway. At over 14,000 feet in elevation, this drive offers visitors scenic views of the Continental Divide, mountain goat and bighorn sheep herds, wildflowers, and the Rocky Mountain Bristlecone Pine trees. If outdoor adventure is more your style, then check out one of the many whitewater rafting explorations in the area, or consider taking a quick (1.5 mile) hike up to St.Marys Glacier.
