Should I rent a car?

We suggest renting a car if you want the freedom to explore throughout the weekend. Uber is available from Philadelphia airport and is a 45 minute drive to Mendenhall Inn, where we have arranged room blocks. On the day of the wedding, there will be a shuttle arranged from Mendenhall Inn to the venue, a 10 minute drive. After the reception, there will be a return shuttle to the hotel.

Are there room blocks? (YES, please read)

YES. We have reserved a room block at Mendenhall Inn. Directions on how to book your room with our code are below. If any of the other hotels look more enticing to you please feel free to do what makes you happiest and most comfortable! Directions for Room Block: Guests are now able to begin making reservations by either calling the hotel at 610-388-2100 x 0 or going online using the following directions: 1- Go to The Mendenhall Website at www.mendenhallinn.com 2- Select the Tab on the top right had side that reads “Hotel” 3- From there, a drop-down menu will be shown. Please Click on “Book Now” 4- A new Screen will pop Up. Scroll down to” Group Bookings” and Click the Link that Says “Click Here for Group Reservations” 5- This will take you to the Best Western Group Booking Site Where you can scroll down to enter your Personalized Code : 2X3VC5E1 This code Will Bring you to the Room Block site for your event. If the Group shows no rooms are available, please have your guests call in to the front desk at 610 388 2100 Ext 0. What Does Garden Party Attire Mean?

Answer

Please wear a *formal* version of garden party attire. This includes long or tea length colorful or floral dresses. Be mindful of footwear because you will be on grass a lot. Maybe leave your stilettos at home ;) Men can wear a suit with or without a tie or jacket. Fun light colors encouraged. Fun hats & accessories welcomed.
