Shuttle service will be provided the day of the wedding for guests staying at The Chequit and at accommodations off or near Menantic Road. Timing and details will be shared closer to October 17.

Travel Note

North & South Ferry Service

Shelter Island is accessible only by ferry, and there are two convenient options: the North Ferry (from Greenport) and the South Ferry (from North Haven, near Sag Harbor). Both run frequently throughout the day (approximately every 5–10 minutes), do not require reservations, and are cash only. The ride is brief and scenic. Fares are charged per vehicle and per passenger, typically around $15–$20 for a car and driver each way, with a small additional fee for extra passengers. If you are not planning to stay overnight on Saturday, please note that the last ferry to Greenport departs at 11:45 PM and the last ferry to North Haven departs at 1:45 AM. Train

Long Island Rail Road

If you’re taking the Long Island Rail Road, hop on the Greenport line to Greenport. From there, walk across the parking lot to the North Ferry dock and take the ferry to Shelter Island.

Flight

JFK, LGA, ISP

Fly into JFK, LaGuardia or MacArthur airports and head east by car or train to catch the ferry to Shelter Island.
