Is there a hotel room block?

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation to/from the wedding will be provided to guests staying at the Chequit Hotel and at accommodations nearby or off Menantic Road. More details will be available closer to October 17. If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with the ceremony held on the lawn. October in the late afternoon is beautiful but can be cool, so please keep outerwear and footwear in mind when planning your attire.

When is the last ferry off Shelter Island?

Answer

The last ferry from Shelter Island to Greenport (the North Ferry) is at 11:45pm. The last ferry from Shelter Island to North Haven/Sag Harbor (the South Ferry) is at 1:45am.

Can I park overnight at the Boathouse?

Answer

Yes! If you plan to drive to the ceremony, you’re welcome to leave your car overnight at the Boathouse and take the provided transportation back to your accommodation. We kindly ask that all cars be picked up by late morning the following day.
