Where is parking for this venue?
Answer
This venue is in a neighborhood and has parking on surrounding side streets as well as plenty of spaces around the park across the street from the venue. All street parking near the venue is free.
Question
Should I bring my kids?
Answer
This venue is not particularly designed with children in mind but you’re more than welcome to bring them if you chose. The venue is a historic home built in the 1920s. It is located on a busy street and has limited yard space, which might make it less ideal for families with young children. There is a park across the street with a playground if needed.

There is a page on this wedding website where you can enter your information and RSVP. Please RSVP for everyone planning on attending so we know how to account for you and your family.

Are there stairs at the venue and is it accessible for guests with mobility concerns?
Answer
This venue does have many stairs on the front of the home. If you or someone in your party require accessibility accommodations, please let us know so we can provide you with more detailed information and assistance. There is a back entrance that is wheelchair accessible and avoids stairs.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
We plan on having the ceremony outdoors and reception indoors, weather permitting. If there is a chance of rain, we will move the ceremony indoors.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We do plan on having an unplugged ceremony. Outside of the ceremony, take as many pictures as you would like! We will have QR codes around the venue for you to scan and upload any photos you take. We would love to see all the fun moments our closest friends and family had on our big day!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
We want our day to be special for everyone attending! If your invitation includes a plus one, their name or “and guest” will be listed on your invite. If you’re unsure, please reach out and ask.

Will there be alcohol served at our wedding?
Answer
We will be offering a complimentary selection of beer, wine, and seltzers throughout the evening for our guest to enjoy.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
We are excited to serve delicious food from a local favorite, Jim N Nicks barbecue. We will have a selection of barbecue chicken, pork, and brisket with sides and drinks for dinner and some snacks during the cocktail hour. Cake will also be served after dinner :)

Where should we bring/send wedding gifts?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 200 Morning Mist Lane Odenville, AL 35120. A wedding card box will be at our reception. We have a link to our honeymoon fund and Amazon registry on our website.

What time will the wedding reception end? Is there an after party?
Answer
We will make our grand exit around 10PM. There is not an official after party, but we do plan on heading into downtown Birmingham after the reception to continue the celebration

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
We plan on having a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception to give our guest time to grab a drink, a snack, and mingle. We will have some yard games and other activities to enjoy during cocktail hour.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Answer
While there are no other official events, we do plan on setting a time to be at a local brewery on the Friday evening before the wedding and would love for any and all of our guests to join and grab a drink with us to start the weekend! Look out for this information under events where we will post more on a location and time.
