We’re getting married!

So just like any true love story, we met online. You know.. just like God intended. 😉 Bethany had been traveling the country as a travel nurse for the last 5.5 years and decided to move to Birmingham to be closer to her family. Her family moved from North Carolina to Alabama in 2021. Andrew, who grew up in Alabama, had also done some travel nursing but decided to stay closer to home and work local. We hit it off pretty quickly. Conversation was easy and we had a lot of similar interests so we knew we had to meet. First date started at O’Henry’s Coffee (fun fact: the wedding venue is across the street 😁). After coffee, we decided to walk next door to Rojo for tacos and ended the night at the Queens Park pop up Christmas bar. The following weeks we had the best time getting to know each other and spending time together. On December 17th, after attending a Pentatonix Christmas Concert, we knew we had something special and decided to make it official. Over the last year we’ve spent a lot of time enjoying shared interests like traveling, spending time with family, cooking together, checking out local breweries and cocktail bars, outdoor activities, spending time with our fur babies, and going to concerts (including our favorite artist, Noah Kahan!). On August 18th we took a trip to Mount Cheaha and spent the day swimming and relaxing at Devil’s Den and ended it with beautiful views at Bald Rock in Cheaha State Park (Alabama’s highest point). That’s when Andrew popped the question! Bethany of course said yes and we both could not be more excited to start our lives together! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all in May at our wedding!
