The Baker
Tyler and Alyssa visit this bakery almost every weekend for the vibes, lattes, food, and the kind man who welcomes everyone with a smile and a laugh EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Try our orders! Alyssa's: Avocado toast, nothing hot, add griddled turkey and an egg with a broken yolk along with a small iced vanilla latte, whole milk. Tyler's: Linguica, double egg with broken yolk, and cheddar cheese on a plain bagel along with a small hot latte, whole milk, no foam.
Toast N Jam
Hands down, the best breakfast around. If you want sweet and thoughtful staff, a down-to-earth environment, a constantly full cup of coffee, and food that makes you ~clean~ your plate every time... this is the place. Try our orders! Alyssa's: Nutella banana fresh toast, with whipped cream, but no ice cream, and a side of linguica or bacon depending on how she's feelin. COFFEE! Tyler's: The classic duo, with over-hard eggs and classic french toast, no butter, and double bacon. COFFEE!
The Whale's Tail
This is the most chill, consistent seafood in the area for a quick bite. It's located right on the port and has the best staff. Our first time here, we were given free frozen margaritas! Try our orders: Tyler's: Hot lobster roll with fries and lots of ketchup OR a fried clam strip basket (she always eats his coleslaw). He usually pairs it with a light lager, but sometimes a margarita if he's feeling froggy! Alyssa's: Cold lobster roll with fries. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! She either pairs it with the golden ale, a sparkling white wine, or a margarita (but only if he get's one).
Dee's Hot Dogs
Okay, hear us out. We frequent this humble, but iconic hot dog shack. Our first bike ride together? This was the destination. Can't knock it until you try it! Try our orders! Alyssa's: A classic hot dog with mustard OR a cheese dog (depending on the mood) and a bag of salt and vinegar chips. Tyler's: Two coney island dogs and a chocolate frappe with no syrup.
Mirasol's Cafe
99% of the time when we're in this area, one of us suggests we stop here for a Chippi. It is the best caffeinated coffee milk you will ever have. Our orders are simple, if its morning? Classic Chippi; If it's the afternoon, Chippi Jr (decaf). P.S. Alyssa will be likely sipping on a Chippi on her wedding day, god willing!

we first tried this place a few months into our relationship and from that moment forward, we decided it had to become a special place for us. we spent our first valentine's day here together having lobster mac and cheese, steak and red wine; we shared shrimp mozambique on our one year anniversary here; and we will continue to celebrate at this place we know for kind staff, fun cocktails, delicious food, and a lovelyyyy vibe.
