We have spent many early mornings with the dogs and nights in August for The Songwriters Festival at this little sliver of green amongst the desert.
Big Bend National Park
Stormy grew up in the area of Far West Texas but I discovered it when HK and I were traveling heavy. It's easily my favorite place on Earth. If you have never ventured into the park, I strongly suggest making the trip. Its a romantic section of the world. If you want hiking suggestions, I am your girl.
Marathon
The whole town is practically in this photo. If you don't want to venture out, there are a few restaurants and bars to spend time at. There is an art gallery, gift shop, coffee shop and plenty of neat sites to see just strolling the streets. Everything is walkable. I hope y'all love this area as much as I do.
