Our Story
We connected on Facebook shortly after I (Carlee) moved back to my hometown of Eden NC in 2022. On our first date we rode on Josh's motorcycle for three hours through the suburbs of Greensboro and just talked and got to know each other. We're both extremely inquisitive people and appreciated the deep conversation with one another. When we met, we were both at very pivotal points in our life. Over the next year, I bought a home, started the kids at a new school, and started a new job. Josh also started a new job and spent a lot of time making the 1 hour & 45-minute drive between Eden and Roanoke to spend as much time as possible with his family and especially his dad. We often joke that we've been through more in a couple of years than many couples do in a lifetime. One of our favorite things to do as a couple is travel. We have visited Smith Mountain Lake, Disney World, New York City, Nashville, Myrtle Beach, Bryson City, Sugar Mountain, Puerto Vallarta, & Bald Head Island together.
