Tori is Katie's longest friendship clocking in at over 20 years! Katie and Tori basically lived at each other’s houses—so much so that when Katie was leaving high school for the day, her iPhone used to prompt her to “check in” with Tori before heading “home”... then suggesting the location of Tori's house. Even though they no longer live 5 miles down the road from each other, they pick up like no time has passed when they get together. Tori is an incredibly talented & passionate speech language pathologist, expert Nancy Drew player, and a forever lover of the tiny desserts at Olive Garden. Make sure to ask her about her dog-ter, Maggie!
Spencer Luster
Best Man
Spencer is Brian’s older brother, reluctant tutor, and third parent (or at least he thinks he is). From reteaching Brian basic Spanish every year in high school so he could pass exams (there is a reason Brian isn't on the family DuoLingo account) to helping Brian move apartments after college, Spencer has always been there. If you are looking for an opponent who thinks four moves ahead in any board game, a study partner who will make you stay until you know your stuff, or just someone to hang on the couch with, he is your guy. Make sure to always address him as Doctor Doctor (yes, he has an MD and a PHD) because he "definitely" doesn't find it annoying.

Maddie & Katie met freshman year of college at DeSales & lived together their last two years of school. They bonded through their mutual love of Law & Order: SVU (Benson & Stabler 4ever) and Catan. Maddie actually got Katie her first nursing job and they enjoyed many night shifts working at the local nursing home together. Katie & Maddie now enjoy swapping emergency room nursing stories, shredding down the mountains in Vermont every winter, & getting together so Katie can see her niece - Maddie's dog, Lucy.

Meet Brian: one half of the dynamic duo Brian Squared. Brian and Brian grew up as neighbors and have been best friends since pre-school. From building Lego in elementary school to helping each other stay awake in high school history (well… let's be honest - Brian helped the Groom), Brian and Brian have been through it all together. Somehow, they have managed to live within 10 miles of each other their whole lives (yes, even through college).

Donna is Katie's favorite sister & one of Katie's biggest role models. Katie LOVED having an older sister growing up and has always admired Donna's incredible work ethic, grace, and passion for her hobbies. Although Donna lives abroad in the Netherlands, Katie loves keeping up with her over Snapchat where she receives daily pictures of Donna's PURFECT cat, Quiche. When Donna visits, Katie's favorite activity is to buy every snack in the grocery store and binge watch Love is Blind together for hours. They always enjoy catching up and gossiping about the latest season - their shameless guilty pleasure.
Eddie Gardiner

Eddie is somehow both the dad of the group and the crazy cousin who will take you on adventures. Eddie and Brian lived together for the last two years of college where Brian learned that Eddie’s drink of choice was a bottle of Clan MacGregor (the gasoline of whisky). Eddie now has his pilot’s license and is part of a flying club. If you pester him enough, he might just take you on a flight over the Hudson River in his Piper Cherokee 235 Airplane.

Emily is Katie's newest sister-in-law(congratulations again to her and Katie's brother, Jay!). Katie loves to describe her as a ray of sunshine because that's truly who she is. She always is down to yap about life or lay on the couch and relax (Katie's favorite activity). She also has the world's best sense of fashion (and closet!) and graciously shares her clothes with Katie far more often than she cares to mention. Make sure to ask Emily for plenty of pictures of her pets; she has seven of them!

Jay has been Katie’s older twin their entire lives and is soon to be Brian’s brother-in-law. Jay is the only other person, besides Spencer, who is always willing to learn an over complicated board game, so it’s no surprise he fits into the family perfectly. But, be warned, if you ever visit Jay to play board games, you will be attacked by the happiest dogs and softest cats you will ever meet. Ask him which of his three black cats is on his shoulder in this picture.

Meaghan is Katie's soon-to-be sister-in-law as she is married to Brian's brother, Spencer. Katie couldn't be more excited to gain another sister - especially one that always has the best book recommendations and is just as competitive as she is when it comes to playing board games. She will always be Katie's go-to when choosing partners for CodeNames (sorry, Brian!). Meaghan & Katie love going to get their nails done together - which of course, couldn't be done without gossip & life talks for hours (which should be in spanish by now judging by their DuoLingo obsessions). Ask Meaghan about her impressive streak on DuoLingo - en español, si puedes.
Evan Jaffa

Evan is the yes man of the group and is always down for a good time. Evan and Brian lived together for the last two years of college, and even co-wrote a halftime show for the Lehigh Marching 97. Evan plays the trombone and tuba in practically every brass band in NYC and can be found blasting his trombone atop a table at Radegast Hall almost every weekend. Make sure to ask Evan about the time he took the entire house on a car ride/slide in the middle of a blizzard to pick Katie up from DeSales.
Maggie Bielic

Maggie & Katie lived together all four years of undergrad at DeSales - and got into more than a few shenanigans. From dance parties in the dorm room (Stadium Rave, anyone?) to raising their hamster son, Dexter, together - Marge & Katie were truly inseparable. Katie has distinct memories of both of them squeezing onto her top bunk and watching an episode of Criminal Minds every night before bed freshman year. Make sure you ask Maggie about the first time that she met Brian & put him through the ringer (rightfully so, as a protective roomie/bestie) ... they have now found peace with each other and routinely share posts about pickles - one of Maggie's first & true loves - on Instagram.

Corydon made the “unfortunate” decision of living with Brian, Eddie, and Evan his last year at college and has been stuck with us ever since. Corydon was another former Lehigh Marching 97 member and met his now wife, Wendy, in the band. Corydon is a not-so-secret metalhead and has the most wide-ranging taste of music of anyone you’ll meet - so make sure to ask him for song recommendations like his favorite Obscurest Vinyl hit.

Sydney & Katie met way back in fifth grade & became close friends in high school. Sydney is an incredibly talented artist & graphic designer; you might recognize her work from the Save The Dates & invitations that she so graciously designed for Katie and Brian. Katie absolutely loved having one of her best friends live less than a mile away from her in Brooklyn. They enjoyed regular movie nights and yap sessions at the table before Sydney decided New York was too warm and moved to Montreal to live with her boyfriend, lovingly nicknamed Canada Boy. Ask Sydney about how much snow they got this year... and how we have no room to complain.

Flower Girl and Grandmother
Marilyn is, has, and always will be the star of any room she is in, so it is only fitting that she is the flower girl/grandma for the big day. Everyone jokes that Marilyn is the busiest party animal in Florida, but it is the truth; she often answers her family’s calls just to tell them she is out having dinner, playing golf, winning at bridge, or walking into Zumba and will call them back. Although she is Brian’s grandmother, Marilyn always seems to get up to some mischief with Katie when they are together.. so be on the lookout.
