Things To Do

Buca di Sant'Antonio

The oldest and most famous restaurant in the city of Lucca. Great selection of roasted meats. Located right in the center of town, near San Michele.

Tenuta di Valgiano

A very good winery a short distance walk from the villa. You need to book for a tour/tasting in advance!

Azienda agricola Valle del Sole

An excellent winery a short drive from the villa. You need to book a tour/tasting in advance.

Antica Locanda di Sesto

A fabulous restaurant right outside of Lucca you would need to drive or take a taxi. Great pasta options.

Cioccolateria Caniparoli

A great place to get gelato in the city of Lucca. They offer a wide range of gelato flavors, generous portions, and the gelato itself is smooth and creamy.

Lucca City Center

Lucca City Center is a magical place in Tuscany. The medieval-walled city is home to numerous churches, antique shops, and charming restaurants. The city doesn't allow cars, so it is especially enjoyable to walk or bike the narrow cobbled streets. A few attractions include the Guinigi Tower, Lucca Cathedral and Plaza del Anfiteatro.
