It was a cold and gloomy March Saturday - A perfect day to pop the question! Ashley knew something was up when Austin was being very particular about both of their outfit choices to go on a lunch date. Austin surprised Ashley by taking her to their special restaurant, Culver's, where they dined in for a late lunch (nothing like getting all dolled up for Culver's). Austin then drove Ashley to Tower Lakes - a place where Ashley caught her personal record bass and the spot where Austin fell in love. As they were walking up to the lake, Ashley noticed her late grandfather's cowboy hat case sitting in the distance on the park bench. They sat on the bench for a moment where Austin described the significance of the place they were sitting. Moments of freezing their tails off went by and Austin got down on one knee to ask the big question. Ashley, in disbelief that this is really happening, had no words and just cried tears of joy. Which provoked Austin to say, "Hey! I need an answer!" Her response, "YES!" We are so excited to celebrate with you! See y'all back home again in Indiana!
