Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the church at least 20 minutes in advance of the start time. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3pm. We ask that you arrive early and remember to factor in time it may take to get an Uber/Lyft if you will not be driving to the Church. Free street parking and the church parking lot are available.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Black-tie optional. Elegant. For the women: Floor-length evening gowns and jumpsuits are great! Please nothing low cut or short in reverence for the Church. For the men: Both tuxes and regular suits are appropriate - ties and jackets strongly recommended. This Georgia girl is not throwing a standard Montana wedding - no jeans, T-shirts, or shorts allowed. COWBOY HATS & BOOTS WELCOME Please reserve all whites and cream colors for the bride. Note that the bridal party will be wearing a steel blue/dusty blue color.

Question

Are children able to come? Will you have a babysitter onsite?

Answer

ALL children are allowed in the Church for the Ceremony itself at 3pm! We just have limited seating at the Whitefish Lodge reception venue. Because of that, children have been restricted to immediate family for the dinner. Infants under 2 are able to come as long as you are ok with them sitting on your lap. Because of that, we will have an AMAZING babysitter and dear friend of ours onsite the hotel watching the children. They will only be a few hundred feet away in the Estate room on the main floor of the Whitefish Hotel. Feel free to bring your children and see them as you please--the Estate room is right next to the bathrooms all wedding guests will be using. Following the dinner, the children are more than welcome to join us for dancing and games!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we would love to give everyone a plus-three and have the biggest party in Montana, our wedding ceremony unfortunately will be intimate. Please type in your name under the "RSVP" tab - if you have a plus one or other family members invited, they will appear in your reservation party. We apologize if we were unable to include an SO or family member of yours!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! Both St. Charles Borromeo Church and Whitefish Lodge will have parking available. St. Charles Borromeo is located in downtown Whitefish with FREE street parking and a small lot behind the church. There is ample parking adjacent and across the Whitefish Lodge. You will see the entrance of the wedding at the end of the roundabout--you do not need to valet your car as there is self-parking throughout the hotel property. Carpooling is always a great idea, and Whitefish has plenty of Ubers/Lyfts available (PLEASE, make safe decisions if you are going to be drinking!) We will no longer be providing group transportation as most guests are staying in various Airbnbs across Whitefish.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony will take place inside St. Charles Borromeo Church. Our Reception will be outdoors. Montana summers do stay warm, and it will be light out until 10pm, but please consider bringing a light jacket if you tend to run on the cooler side!
