Our Story

In February 2022, Taylor moved out to Montana in search of her special cowboy after watching one too many Yellowstone episodes with her mom. Little did she know, 6 months later she would meet the man of her dreams... a golfer. With Taylor's best wingman to date, Bear (her 140 lb Bernese Mountain dog), Taylor was introduced to Jacob through some friends from the dog park. They all went to a concert together that night, and that was Jacob's first time seeing Taylor. His words: She had such a beautiful smile, and I loved how openly Taylor talked about her faith. I was determined to get to know her more, even if it meant tracking her down after she gave me the wrong number. (Still up for debate if she did that on purpose or not.) Taylor was unlike any girl I've ever met, and on our first date she asked to pray over our meal together. I was hooked! Her words: When I first saw Jacob I thought he was in the military or a cop, so I was immediately interested. After the concert, we went to a saloon to dance and we couldn't keep our eyes off of each other. On our first date, Jacob told me his number one priority was his relationship with Jesus--he was the first man to ever lead with that, and I knew we could build a strong foundation together. By date number 3, we prayed over a woman in need after dinner together and that moment sparked a fire within us both - what a gift it was to share the gospel as a unified front. There have been many long talks together over differences with Taylor, a devout Catholic and Jacob, a practicing non-denominational Christian. Not knowing if this was something they could grow together in, Jacob dove deep into the Catholic world and grew to love Taylor even more because of her Catholic faith. Taylor knew she could trust Jacob with her hopes and dreams, because he would pray over it first and Jacob was committed to seeking truth above all else. The couple loves sharing quality time together whether it be in skiing, fishing, playing with Bear, or partaking in Jacob's favorite past time - golf. They've golfed some of the best courses together, including Bandon Dunes & TPC Scottsdale. Jacob's ultimate goal is to attend the Masters, making this Georgia peach his perfect match! In June 2024, Jacob took Taylor on a trip to Whitefish for the big proposal. In his true fashion, Jacob planned to propose on the 18th hole of a course they were going to play. Taylor was having not-so-hot of a round, and it was evident that an "excited yes" wasn't going to happen after Taylor threw her putter. He quickly changed course and ultimately ended up asking Taylor to be his wife in the very spot they will be celebrating their wedding - Whitefish Lodge! Taylor's yes out on the dock was the first day of the rest of their lives. They are so excited to share this sacred moment with everyone, and the couple is beyond grateful for their family and friends' tremendous support that helped lead them here to the altar!
