Abigail K was a freshman while Abigail D was leading her new-member small group for their sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda. During the new-member retreat when hundreds of girls had sleeping bags on the floor of a local church, they happened to be next to each other. They started chatting about something silly like which picture to post, then they just clicked and Abigail D requested her to be her “little". From there, their friendship just blossomed! There’s a million amazing characteristics and qualities about her, but here are a few. Abigail K is trustworthy, encouraging, light-hearted, always up for an adventure, and the best listener. Abigail D couldn't imagine saying "I do" without her by her side.
Natalie Henderson
Bridesmaid
Natalie and Abigail also met when she was a new-member in Sigma Phi Lambda. Coincidentally (though not at all, because God definitely wanted them to be friends), Natalie and Abigail were in two of the same classes that year. They started sitting next to each other every class and also shared time together at Phi Lamb meetings every week. I guess they liked each other so much so they became roommates for the rest of college! Natalie and Abigail love binge-watching creepy and dramatic shows together, eating Gumby's pizza rolls, and going for late-night Sonic runs. Natalie is so fun, the best shopping parter, and has the most contagious laugh.
Kathryn Brewer

Abigail met Kathryn at A&M's Fish Camp for incoming students. Come to find out, they were neighbors in the freshman dorm and had weirdly signed up for the same summer book club (that only had ~5 people total)! Again, God totally wanted them to be friends so He made their paths cross in so many ways! They frequented each other's dorm rooms and walked across campus together for Sigma Phi Lambda meetings. Abigail had the honor of being in Kathryn's wedding and now Abigail is so excited she can now be in hers, too! The day wouldn’t be complete without her.
Kaila Hess

Camp Thurman brought Kaila and Abigail together and they’ve been close ever since! They had the best time being counselors at a kids camp, but then Kaila went off to college at the University of Arkansas and Abigail to Texas A&M. Even though they are 8+ hours away, they keep in touch by Marco Polo-ing and texting each other! You know it's a life-long friendship when distance doesn't matter. Kaila is such a great hype-girl, is always down to go out and make new memories, and is the kind of person you want to talk to when you need some good advice. Trustworthy, sincere, and supportive are all words that describe Kaila.
Heather Hankins

Abigail is so excited to have a new sister! Heather is a bundle of joy, such a good encourager, and the kind of girl you want to stick around for a long time. Anyone that meets Heather is so aware of her warm, excited spirit. Abigail can't wait to be a part of the Hankins family and share lots of family time together!
Garrett Williams
Best Man
Garrett has been one of Grant’s best friends for a long, long time. Starting their relationship in first grade, Grant and Garrett would take classes together, play sports together, and spend the afternoons playing at each other’s houses. As time has progressed, Garrett has stayed in touch and been a close friend despite attending different universities. Garrett and Grant have many fond memories from hunting trips, to summer days at the country club pool, to spending last summer together while Grant lived in San Antonio. Garrett is trustworthy, kind, and lots of fun. Garrett is surely a friend for life.
Jacob Whitehead

From their early years on the baseball diamond up until their recent graduation, Jacob has been a dear friend. While in high school, Jacob and Grant got to share a special relationship that few get to share, that of a quarterback and his offensive lineman. Jacob and Grant have been roommates throughout all of their college years, filling their time with great experiences, many rounds of disc golf, and lots of personal growth. During this time together, Jacob has witnessed the development of Grant and Abigail’s relationship from strangers all the way to spouses. Jacob is likable, a great advice-giver, and always up for a good time. Everyone needs a friend like Jacob
Brendan Buckley

Similar to Jacob, Brendan and Grant have been long time friends ever since they first played youth football and baseball together. Following their freshman year of college, Brendan decided to move into an apartment with Grant, which would later result in three full years of living together while in college. Some of the fondest memories that Grant and Brendan share include their early morning dining hall breakfasts together, numerous hours spent studying and ranting over differential equations, and many fun memories made while cooking or chatting in the kitchen. Brendan has always been an encouragement by being one of the most trustworthy, honest, and hardworking individuals that Grant knows. Brendan will always be a go-to guy and friend.
Michael Elliott

Michael and Grant met only one year ago, yet their friendship runs deep. From countless men’s bible studies, workouts, and sporadic phone calls, the two have developed a deep relationship with one another in their pursuit of Christ. Michael has provided Grant great encouragement and accountability in his pursuit of Abby in both dating and engagement. Michael is a brother in Christ for years to come. Michael is so much fun to be with as he is always joking around, smiling, and energetic.
Joey Williams

Similar to Garrett, Joey and Grant have been great friends ever since they met in the first grade. From middle school all the way through their senior year of high school, Joey and Grant have enjoyed spending their time together on the football field. The two spent many hours “bonding”, as coaches always required offensive lineman to spend time before, during, and after school training together. Although the two attended different universities, Joey has always made the effort to stay in touch, and of course, go lift weights together with Grant any time they can. Joey is funny, dependable, and great friend. Joey is the kind of guy who always has your back.
