2020 was a weird time as we all know, but something great started to grow from such a hectic year with the help of Hinge! Daniel and Karla met at Kirby Ice House in Houston, TX on a Monday Night Football to watch the Saints play (Karla's idea by the way). With Daniel moving to a big city, Karla thought there was no way this was going anywhere... And was she SOOOOOO wrong because the rest was history.

For what Karla though would be a nice getaway weekend in Fredricksburg for the two, little did she know what Daniel had been composing over the last few months. With the help of Karla's little sister, Emily, he set a plan to propose to the woman he shares a birthday with at the Japanese Garden of Peace. Karla, of course having ZERO idea, wanted to change plans all day (oops!) but Daniel kept his cool and somehow managed to get her to the location at the right time. Once they were dropped off, they walked into the garden, Daniel found the perfect spot, and began to tell Karla how much he loved her. He got down on one knee and Karla said the fastest yes cause ABOUT TIME! This was after she got done crying like a big baby :)

This day will mark our 4th year together and what a special way to celebrate! We can't wait to finally be husband and wife. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. We look forward to seeing everyone on our big day. Love, Daniel and Karla
