Austin and I had our very first coffee date on March 10th, 2024, the first of so many special days to come. We met at a cozy little French bakery/coffee shop, both a little nervous but excited to finally sit down together. From the moment we started talking, the conversation just flowed. I think I talked his head off, sharing every funny story, random thought, and little detail about my life, while Austin just smiled, laughed, and listened with that patient, kind-hearted way of his. Before we knew it, hours had passed, the sun had set, and we had quite literally closed the restaurant down. We ended up being the last ones in the shop, completely lost in conversation and laughter, not wanting the night to end. From that day forward, we never stopped talking...literally. Since that first coffee date, we’ve talked every single day, building a friendship and a love that’s full of laughter, honesty, faith, and an unshakable sense that God’s hand was in every detail. What started as one simple coffee date turned into the most beautiful beginning of our forever story. As we look back on that night, it’s amazing to see how the Lord has continued to guide our story, answering prayers, opening doors, and weaving our lives together in ways we could have never planned ourselves. Every step since has felt like confirmation that this was exactly where we were meant to be. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the next chapter of our favorite story, surrounded by the people we love most. We’re so thankful for each of you and can’t wait to share this special day with you as we start our forever together!
