Lexy admires her quick wit, creativity and passion for helping others.

Alyssa is Lexy's neighbor from childhood, roommate in college and post-college, best friend and better half. After living together for five years, it's safe to say Alyssa knows Lexy better than anyone. Alyssa was there when Daniel and Lexy met and has been witness to how their relationship has grown throughout the years. Daniel and Lexy love Alyssa for her huge heart, impressive knowledge of sports and ability to have fun in any situation.

Lexy and Krista met in high school and quickly became inseparable. Krista and Lexy shared many adventures in high school and college, most that can never be told to their parents. As a freshman in college, Krista helped Lexy move into MSU and stayed her first night with her- something Lexy will always be grateful for. Krista visited Lexy so often in college that others thought Krista was a MSU student. Lexy loves Kristas sense of humor and how loyal a friend she is.

Mikey is Daniel’s younger cousin. Together Mikey, Daniel and Lexy formed the OG3's through their love to be the first to arrive and last to leave every family get together.

Casey and Lexy met in their kindergarten class and have become 'forever friends' since. Together they've weathered heartache, friend drama and living far apart from one another. However, they always find time to see each other, which typically ends in reminiscing on their middle school and high school days, drinking wine and singing musicals. Lexy views Casey as one of her biggest cheerleaders and looks up to how selflessly Casey loves her family.

Alex is Daniel's younger cousin. His one-liners and desire for a good time help to keep Daniel and Lexy young. We call him Big Pimpin'.

Angela is not only Lexy's future sister-in-law, but dear friend. From the moment they met, Angela welcomed Lexy with open arms and made her feel like a part of the family. Lexy and Angela have since shared in many trips, laughs and late nights together. They've also planned their futures together which include building homes next to one another so they can share closets, meals and child-care responsibilities.

Justin has been keeping Daniel out of trouble since the days of Daniel visiting his sister at Western Michigan. Justin and Daniel are more than just brothers-in-law; they are great friends.

Samantha and Lexy met at Pioneer Middle School. Throughout middle school and college, they referred to themselves as 'twins', never mind the fact that Lexy has an actual twin brother. Samantha is adored by everyone she meets, most notably for her loyal and giving heart. She is always willing to lend a hand, offer advice or be a listening ear.

Ally is one of Daniel's cousins however Ally and Lexy quickly hit it off and the two have become good friends. Together, they enjoy drinking wine, tailgating for the Detroit Lions and helping one another plan their weddings. Ally is a part of the OG3 group, started by Daniel, Mikey and Lexy, which was created out of love for arriving to family events together and being the last to leave.

Val is Daniel's older cousin and the ring-leader of fun. Some of Daniel and Lexy's wildest times have been under Val's supervision.

Stephanie and Lexy met when Stephanie started dating Lexy's brother. In 2020, the Barmans officially welcomed Stephanie into the family when they married. Not only is Stephanie kind, calm, compassionate and thoughtful, but she selflessly loves Lexy's brother and nephew and gives her heart and soul to her work as a teacher. Lexy looks forward to one day having children alongside Stephanie and seeking her advice.

Sophia is Daniel & Lexy's niece and Lexy’s “bestie”. Sophia is adored by everyone she meets for her spunky personality, love for her family and incredible dance moves. Lexy and Sophia enjoy 'girls days' together filled with board games, dinner dates, crafts and cuddles. Sophia and Uncle Daniel enjoy going to the Detroit Lions training camp, swimming in the pool and playing arcade games together.
Theodore Barman

Theo is Lexy and Daniel's adorable nephew. He is the joy of Lexy's life, and she loves to watch him explore new foods, play and learn. While Theo's dad is a OSU fan and his mom a U of M fan, Daniel is hoping to turn Theo into a MSU Spartan as he gets older. Lexy and Daniel look forward to seeing Theo walk down the aisle at their wedding and watching him grow.
